Definition

midas NFX is a general-purpose finite element analysis product from MIDAS Information Technology. The Midas-NFX-Analysis-Manual presents it as a structural and field-analysis program covering linear, nonlinear, dynamic, heat-transfer, fatigue, contact, and optimization workflows.

Manual Coverage

The manual organizes NFX around model definition, node/DOF and coordinate-system conventions, element libraries, material laws, equation solvers, eigen extraction, linear and nonlinear dynamics, contact, fatigue, thermal/electrical coupling, load/constraint definitions, optimization, and forming-limit analysis.
