Midas FEA Analysis Manual

Scope

This source is the analysis and algorithm manual for midas FEA, a civil and bridge-oriented nonlinear detail analysis program from MIDAS Information Technology. The raw source covers element formulations, material models, general algorithms, linear analysis procedures, construction stage analysis, heat transfer and hydration, contact, fatigue, and CFD.

The manual is useful in this vault because it adds a second production-solver reference beside the Abaqus manuals. Abaqus pages describe a broad general-purpose FE platform; the Midas manual emphasizes civil structural nonlinear analysis, concrete cracking, construction stages, hydration heat, static contact, fatigue checks, and wind-related CFD.

Midas-Civil-Analysis-Reference is the sibling MIDAS product reference for bridge/civil member analysis, seismic procedures, staged construction, prestress, moving loads, and civil design utilities.
